THIS YEAR AT PLYMOUTH MIDDLE SCHOOL...
Our dynamic staff will work with students throughout the year, giving them 4 unique opportunities to grow!
Students will have four distinct opportunities to get involved in after school theater opportunities at PMS this year.
Fall Drama Club, our Winter Musical ON STAGE!, Tech Crew for the Winter Musical, and our Spring Theater "Play it Forward" event, a fundraiser to benefit others in the school or community.

PMS Theatre Staff
Director Nina Jonson has an 8th grader at PMS and a 10th grader at Armstrong. She has been working with the theatre program at PMS since September 2022, and in Spring 2024 won the Robbinsdale Activity Program Director of the Year award for her work with and the growth of the theatre program. She acted in elementary, middle and high school, as well as an adult in community theatre, and also works with other local theater companies as a hair, makeup and wig artist. She is a licensed elementary educator with the state of MN and has worked with children, teens and young adults for 20 years. Her full-time job is as Director of Children and Youth at Plymouth Congregational Church in Minneapolis.

All activities at Plymouth Middle School are overseen by Activities Director Doug Hubred, with support from the administrative team of Tamiko Thomas, Todd Goggleye and Mike Bury, and participation in any school activities requires agreement with school behavior, attendance, and academic expectations.
